Today is our Quaid's birth anniversary. Pakistan came into being in 1947. It was a heavenly gift for us and for our future generations. Pakistan has given us our identity. The Quaid and his colleagues deserve glowing tributes for their untiring struggle. Unfortunately, however, the leaders of today have failed the nation in a big way. Sadly, the country is not faring well due to bad governance.
It is facing increased internal and external threats. Qaid's golden motto "Unity, Faith, Discipline" has been turned into "Disunity, Mistrust and Indiscipline" by unscrupulous politicians in particular. Pakistani society is strongly characterised by corruption and crime. The situation underscores the need for following Quaid's golden words "Unity, Faith, Discipline" for our survival lies in them. In the words of Army Chief General Qamar Jawed Bajwa "freedom costs sacrifices" which his soldiers are rendering on a daily basis.
