Another batch of 768 male and female graduates and postgraduates of Mehran University of Engineering and Technology Jamshoro (MUET) and SZAB Engineering Campus Khairpur Mirs had passed out after receiving degrees at the Academic Convocation 2017 held on Thursday.
Out of 768 male and female graduates and postgraduates, 559 have received degrees of Bachelor of Engineering, 22 received degrees of Bachelor of Architecture, 11 received degrees of Bachelor of City and Regional Planning, 16 have received degrees of BS. I.T., 13 have received degrees of B. Tech: (Pass), 48 have received degrees of Master of Engineering, 8 received degrees of M.Philosophy and three have received degrees of Ph.D. besides 86 degrees of Bachelor of Engineering conferred to students of SZAB Engineering Campus Khairpur Mirs.
Zunera Memon of the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering and Mahnoor Syed of the Department of Electrical SZAB Campus Khairpur Mirs had received two Gold Medals on clinching top position in the examinations and achieving slot of best graduate. The Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Muhammad Aslam Uqaili who presided over the convocation has also given Silver Medals to 30 graduates with commended certificates to those who secured first and second positions in their respective examinations.
