Mr Donald Trump, please stop this "do more" non-sense. Asking Pakistan to do even more is just sickening. That is how you treat a non-Nato ally that has rendered unmatched sacrifices in the global war on terror so far in such an unjust and unfair manner. According to a Business Recorder editorial in recent days, there cannot be two opinions about the fact that the defeat of Al-Qaeda in the war against global terrorism was not possible without more-than-active participation of Pakistan in it. Nearly three decades ago, Pakistan was a key factor behind the humiliation of the Red Army in Afghanistan. The question is why does the US try to see the situation through the prism of India? The whole world knows that New Delhi is involved in creating instability and fomenting unrest in Balochistan. The confession of India's naval commander Kulbhushan Jadhav is a strong case in point. Jadhav has repeatedly made it clear that he had been involved in saboteur activities in Balochistan and Karachi. How unfortunate and ironic it is that the US has given India more space in a war-torn country, overlooking the scale of sacrifices rendered by this country of 200 million people since the US invasion of Afghanistan weeks after September 11 2001, and later invasion of Iraq in March 2003. No doubt, the US policies in the Middle East and North Africa have already cost it dearly; the situation is going to be no different in the case of South Asia either.
