All Pakistan Fruit & Vegetable Exporters, Importers and Merchants Association (PFVA) expressing deep appreciation on success of United Business Group (UBG) in FPCCI election congratulated dynamic leadership of UBG and all elected candidates. PFVA hoped that elected President, Senior Vice President and Vice Presidents would exploit their immense potentials and capabilities to resolve issues of the business community.
A delegation of the PFVA comprising Chairman PFVA Aslam Pakhali and Vice Chairman Shehzad Shaikh had meeting with the UBG leadership including newly-elected President of FPCCI Ghazanfar Bilor, Senior Vice President Mahar Nasir and Vice Presidents.
The President FPCCI and other office-bearers highly appreciated significant role played by the PFVA in sustenance of the national economy particularly uplift of the agriculture sector and enhancement of exports and assured all possible support and assistance in resolving the issues of horticulture sector. The delegation of PFVA appreciated the wise decision made by S M Muneer, Iftehkar Ali Malik and other leaders of the UBG to nominate Patron-in-Chief of the PFVA Waheed Ahmed as one of the candidates for the portfolio of Vice President FPCCI.
On the occasion the Chairman PFVA said that Waheed Ahmed has managed to uplift the PFVA as prominent trade body and raised issued with the concerned ministries. While International Research organizations and provincial departments also prefer to have partnership with PFVA, he added.
He informed that the PFVA is gearing up to hold a national conference with a view to preparing a road map for rapid development of the horticulture sector and in this regard the process of consolation with provinces has already been initiated. The leadership of UBG and office-bearers of FPCCI appreciated commendable and immense support extended by the PFVA body during the election campaign of the FPCCI.
