The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Hazara Region Wednesday arrested a terrorist belonging to a banned organization from Haripur who was allegedly involved in attack on the office of non-governmental organization (NGO) at Oghi, Manshera where seven people lost their lives and six were critically injured. The accused was identified as Syed Nazara Shah S/O Ghulam Shah, resident of Chupanch Paeen Tehsil Mastooj Chitral. He was also wanted by Hazara Division police for different terrorist acts in the region.
According to the CTD the accused involved in attack on World Vision NGO attack where he and other terrorists not only killed seven innocent employees including two women and injured six on 10th March, 2010, they also set the office ablaze after the attack. Oghi police have also registered a case against the Syed Nazara Shah under section 382-324-427-148-149 and Anti Terrorists Act 3/4ESA-6-7ATA at Oghi Police Station.
