Dozens of activists of People's Youth Organisation (PYO) staged protest rally outside press club Mardan against the provincial president Humayun Khan for allegedly selected his favorites as office bearers of the organisation. Former provincial president Ghulam Mustafa, Mardan divisional president Ishfaq Toru, former Mardan City president Sheryar Khan and other former office bearers of PYO led the rally. Large numbers of activist of PYO of Mardan division attended the rally. The participants of the rally chanted slogans against Humayun Khan.
Later on addressing to a news conference at Mardan press club they accused that provincial office-bearers of the party ruined the party and its ideological workers by nominating their handpicked people as office bearers of the PYO. They accused that provincial president Humayun Khan, provincial general secretary Faisal Karim and Information secretary Rubina Khalid distributed the offices of PYO between each others. They added that PYO have unanimously rejected unilateral nomination of office-bearers and decided to reorganize the party on ideological lines.
