The Lasbela Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) announced to establish welfare trust. This was decided in a meeting held with the District and Sessions Judge, Lasbela at Hub attended by the Judiciary as well as prominent industries to discuss the problems faced by the Jam Ghulam Qadir Hospital at Hub.
Former president, LCCI, Ismail Suttar proposed to constitute a welfare trust which may assess the actual needs of the hospital and to prioritize them for resolution and to arrange funds for the same. Earlier, the District and Sessions Judge Abdul Qayyum Lehri proposed to setup a forum in the form of the board which may consider and address to the problems of hospital by way of collecting the funds from the industries at Hub.
To ensure the transparency, sound management and sustainability, Ismail Suttar proposed to constitute the welfare trust consisting of the member from the judiciary at Hub and the trustworthy people from the business community. The proposal was agreed upon by the District and Sessions Judge and other participants after listening to Medical Superintendent of the Jam Ghulam Qadir Hospital regarding the hospital needs requiring immediate logistic support.
