Chicago Board of Trade wheat futures fell about 1 percent on Tuesday, pressured by chart-based selling and ample global grain stockpiles, traders said. Rain and snowfall in the eastern US Midwest replenished soil moisture for the dormant soft red winter wheat crop.
CBOT wheat and K.C. hard red winter wheat eased to the lowest levels in about a week while MGEX March spring wheat fell to the lowest since June. European milling wheat followed US prices lower.
