President of Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI), Tariq Malik, has said that the planned Malir Expressway would help reduce city's traffic pressure. Welcoming the approval of the Malir Expressway by Sindh Government, he said, it was a long-awaited decision. "Long traffic jams waste time and fuel, bring air pollution and other issues; hence, we are in urgent need of such projects," Malik said.
KATI senior vice president, Salman Aslam, noted that since Syed Murad Ali Shah took over as Sindh Chief Minister, he had evinced keen interest in Karachi-related issues which should be appreciated. KATI vice president Junaid Naqi praised Sindh Local Government Minister Jam Khan Shoro for his efforts.
