Chief Secretary Sindh, Rizwan Memon said that the Integrated Land Records Management System (ILRMS) has been evaluated in Sindh under which reconstruction of land record on computerized based has taken placed. Briefing a two-member World Bank team on Land Management System, headed by Senior WB Specialist Ms Mary Lesbeth, he said facilitation centers have been established in all district of Sindh to benefit the people, for verification and authentication of their properties land records.
Rizwan Memon maintained that the facilitation centers are also being extended to tehsil level. Chairman Planning & Development Board Sindh Muhammad Waseem asserted that Sindh has sufficiently progressed in the task of reconstring and computerizing the land management network to facilitate people. Ms Mary Lesbith expressed satisfaction over the progress thereof. WB consultant Igor Popit also appreciated the task.
Provincial Secretary S Zulfiqar Shah and Member SBR (Sindh Board of Revenue) Manzoor Ahmed Shaikh were also present.
