2018 was the year of weddings for Bollywood fraternity as fans got to see many of their favourite celebrities getting hitched. As the year 2018 is coming to its end, let’s take a look at some of the high-profile weddings of the year.

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja

The year of weddings in Bollywood started off with Sonam Kapoor's grand wedding to her longtime boyfriend Anand Ahuja. Sonam tied the knot to the Delhi-based businessman and entrepreneur on May 8. Before their marriage, there were many speculations regarding them dating, but the two never said officially announced their relationship status before their marriage.

However, this did not stop the two from publicly displaying their dynamic love through social media posts and public appearances. The couple got hitched in a lavish wedding in India, which was attended by their families, friends and B-Town fraternity.

Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi

Bollywood actors Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi secretly got married in May this year. They announced their marriage with pictures on their social media accounts on May 10. Their marriage announcement came as surprise as surprise for their fans as not much was known about their relationship before they made it official.

Soon after their marriage Neha announced her pregnancy and later her husband confirmed she got pregnant before they got married. The couple welcomed their new-born daughter in November.

Himesh Reshammiya and Sonia Kapoor

Singer-turned-actor Himesh Reshammiya tied the knot for the second time with former actress Sonia Kapoor on May 11. Himesh got divorced from his first wife Komal last year after spending 22 years together.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh

One of the most anticipated Bollywood weddings of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh was held in Italy on November 14. The grand ceremony was a private affair for the love-birds, as only close family attended the wedding and a no-phones policy was followed by the guests at the venue. They dated for six years before getting married in November this year.

After their wedding in Italy, the couple hosted four separate wedding receptions in India, of which one was for their Bollywood friends and colleagues.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas

Actress Priyanka Chopra and American singer Nick Jonas are the latest among the celebrities who tied the knot this year. The couple got hitched in two lavish ceremonies, one Christian and the other Hindu, in Jodhpur, India, on December 1 and November 30. The wedding pictures attracted millions of eyeballs on its release.
