Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) tightened rope and intensified its Gas Theft Operation against the Gas thieves in its franchised areas Sindh and Balochistan.
The SSGC's SS&CGTO team in co-ordination with Company's CRD, DSM and Security Departments along with SSGC police continued its crackdown against miscreants involved in theft of natural gas by raiding apartments in Dehli Colony. The team disconnected the illegal supply of gas for residential purpose that was being illegally used through network of rubber pipes from direct line.
Raids were carried out at Paracha Terrace, Shamim Terrace, Munner Arcade, Moin Arcade and 2 other apartments whereby approximately 80-100 apartments were using gas through rubber pipes. The meters were removed and service lines were killed of those apartments where the gas was being stolen.
The cases would be registered against the culprits and claim would be raised accordingly against the accused. SSGC is waging an all out war against all those involved in gas theft by conducting raids on a regular basis in its franchise provinces of Sindh and Balochistan.-PR
