Online system has been upgraded to issue business visas for Australia, said Margaret Adamson High Commissioner of Australia.
She was addressing an awareness session on business visa information, here on Wednesday. The session was also attended by leading business leaders including Shabbir Hussain Chawla, President Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI), Engineer Sohail Bin Rasheed, Chairman FCCI standing committee on Diplomatic Affairs & International Trade Delegations, Delia Mills, first Secretary Australian High Commission, President Bahawalpur Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Azhar H Shah, Country and Regional Manager Australian Trade & Investment Commission.
Adamson said that the procedure to issue visa has been linked with the online system to facilitate the business community. She asked the businessmen intending to visit Australia to apply through online system so that their applications could be processed immediately.
Earlier President FCCI Shabbir Hussain Chawla thanked Margaret Adamson for arranging this session on business visas. He hoped that this arrangement will help to further enhance the trade volume between the two countries.
Engineer Sohail Bin Rasheed said on the occasion that FCCI was arranging a trade delegation for Australia which is expected to proceed to that country by the end of June this year. Earlier, Delia Mills gave a detailed presentation on the processing of business visas by the Australian High Commission.
