The Punjab Livestock and Dairy Development Department (PLDDD) has launched a project to create awareness about the benefits of usage of milk, meat and other livestock products. Under this project, a mobile training bus division has been established in the department which will visit different schools, colleges and universities and create awareness about importance of mutton, milk, eggs and other livestock products.
As part of the programme, a Livestock department recently held a lecture at a girl's school in Mohlanwal area of the provincial metropolis to teach the girl students and their teachers about importance of milk. Dr Aisha Anjum of the department delivered the lecture. The mobile training bus also displayed different documentaries to the children disseminating information about how to rear different animals.
