A Joint Investigation Team (JIT) has been formed to probe into the incident of firing on residence of Supreme Court (SC) judge, Justice Ijazul Ahsan in Lahore on Sunday. Two separate firing incidents were reported at the residence of Supreme Court Justice Ijazul Ahsan.
According to Punjab government spokesperson, the JIT headed by Additional IG Muhammad Tahir will comprise DIG Investigation Sultan Chaudhry and representatives of the Military Intelligence (MI), Inter-Services Intelligence (IS), and Intelligence Bureau (IB). Officers of the Special Branch and Forensics Agency will also be part of the team, the spokesman added.
