TV anchor Dr Shhahid Masood on filed pre-arrest bail application in the Islamabad High Court. His coordinator has submitted the application in the IHC under Article 199 of Constitution on his behalf praying that FIA be directed no to arrested him
He has further prayed that the order of the session court be set aside which issued the non-bailable arrest warrant of him. The petitioner contended FIA has closed an inquiry in 2015 in misappropriation of funds. He said that he has been victimised by the FIA.
He said that Dr Shahid Masood is the critic and analysed and is greatly admired for his bold analysis and programme not only in the country but abroad as well.
The petitioner prayed that Dr Shahid Masood be granted bail and the order of Session be set aside.
