Caretaker Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa former justice Dost Muhammad Khan has felicitated the nation on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr adding that Eid is occasion that create the spirit of collectiveness and togetherness amongst the Muslim Umma. "Today we have to keep alive the same spirit and share our happiness and joys with the destitute and poor segments of the society," he said.
In a message of felicitation to the entire Muslim Umma and especially the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the caretaker chief minister reminded that it's a thanks giving occasion demanding to rise above our petty differences and express complete solidarity with the Muslim Umma that is more needed today than before. He said Eid-ul-Fitr is a festivity celebrated by Muslims both rich and poor and a unique gift by Almighty Allah enjoining upon the rich to share their happiness and joys with poor and take care of them in order to promote collectiveness and togetherness amongst the Muslims.
He paid rich tribute to the martyrs of armed forces who laid down their lives for the cause of the country and nation and succeeded in the restoration of peace in the country.
