On Monday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,532. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR2.358 billion and the number of lots traded was 5,107.
Major business was contributed by WTI crude oil amounting to PKR 733.982 million, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 414.625 million, gold PKR 345.461 million, NSDQ100 PKR 213.142 million, platinum PKR 148.870 million, natural gas PKR 138.953 million, DJ PKR 120.060 million, copper PKR 98.031 million, silver PKR 63.452 million, Brent crude oil PKR 45.283 million and SP500 PKR 36.689 million. In agriculture, 27 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 28.831 million were traded.
