The Karachi Development Authority (KDA) on Wednesday decided to hand over all those grounds which have been got vacated after removing encroachments to its Sports department to restore for sports activities. It was decided in an urgent meeting chaired by KDA Directed General Samiuddin Siddiqi, said a statement. Addressing on the occasion, he said that the use of amenity plots for commercial purposes will not be tolerated.
He directed the executive engineers to point out all the commercial plots in the residential schemes. The meeting also decided to expedite the operation against encroachments in all areas without any discrimination.
