The national conference on psychology organized by PU Centre for Clinical Psychology (CCP), Riphah International University, Bahria University, Karachi and Pakistan Association of Clinical Psychologists (PACP) has concluded here on Saturday.
The topic of first workshop was "Happiness & Women". The recourse person was Mirat Gul, Consultant Clinical Psychologist at Punjab Institute of Cardiology, Lahore.
The theme of second workshop was "NLP and Hypnotherapy" in which the recourse person was Dr Tahira Yousaf, Assistant Professor at Institute of Professional Psychology, Bahria University, Karachi. The third workshop was conducted by Dr Aisha Sitwat, Assistant Professor PU on the topic of "Treatment of Depression and Anxiety through Zikar-e-Ilahi" at Bahria University, Lahore campus.
The workshops were held at Bahria University, Lahore Campus. The fourth workshop was conducted at PU Center for Clinical Psychology. The theme of the workshop was "Play Therapy" conducted by Prof Zainab Zadeh, Dean and Director, Institute of Professional Psychology, Bahria University, Karachi.
Mental health professionals, faculty from four institutes, PhD scholars, MS and ADCP trainees from all over the Pakistan attended the above mentioned workshops. These workshops will enhance the professional skills of the participants so that they can deal with mental health issues effectively.
