A six-year old boy and his mother lost their lives as a result of firecrackers blast in a house here at Islamabad Chowk on Monday. According to Police, blast occurred in a house which was converted into the firecrackers storage by a person named Saleem. As a result of blast, a six years old boy Ayan alias Dodo died on the spot while his mother Nasreen who received serious injuries later succumbed to her injuries during first aid in the hospital. Both were shifted to Civil Hospital by the area people in a private vehicle.
Soon after the incident, Superintendent of Police Hyderabad City Zahida Parveen along with heavy Police contingent reached the spot and inquired about the blast.
