LARKANA: The main ceremony of 11th anniversary of Shaheed Mohtrama Benazir Bhutto, the former prime minister, was observed on Thursday at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto, Larkana.
Quran Khawani and fateha khawani was also held for the departed soul of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and free food was distributed amongst the people.
People from all walks of life paid rich tributes to her for her services to the poor & downtrodden people, progress and democracy in the country.
Chairman of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Former President and Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari, Former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Syed Nayyer Hussain Bukhari, Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Qamar Zaman Kaira, and other senior leaders of PPP addressed a public meeting outside of the mazar of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto in Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto to pay her (BB) homage.
PPP leaders including Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Former President Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan, AJK Former Prime Minister Chaudhry Abdul Majeed, Rehman Malik, Sherry Rehman, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Syed Naveed Qamar, Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah, Manzoor Watto, Farhatullah Babar, Sardar Lateef Khosa, Ahmed Khuhro, Speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Khan Durrani, Senators and Provincial Ministers visited the graves of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and others. They placed wreaths at the graves and offered fateha.
