Pakistan on Tuesday submitted its second reply to International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague in the case of Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav, Foreign Office said. According to Spokesperson Foreign Office Dr Mohammad Faisal, the dossier was submitted to the ICJ by Director India at the South Asia Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr Fareha Bugti accompanied by Waseem Shahzad, an officer of the Embassy of Pakistan in The Hague.
The diplomatic sources said that the latest dossier submitted to the ICJ has covered all aspects of the case and responded all the queries earlier submitted to the court by India. With this, the sources said that the process of submitting replies has come to an end and it would follow hearing of the case in the ICJ.
Jadhav, a serving Indian navy officer who was working for Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), was arrested by Pakistani security agencies on March 24, 2016 from Balochistan. On April 10, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa confirmed his death sentence awarded by Field General Court Martial (FGCM). India, however, approached the ICJ against the FGCM judgment.
