ISLAMABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Oil and Gas Company Limited has invited interested oil and gas Exploration and Production companies to tap massive hydrocarbon reserves identified in different parts of the province to achieve self-sufficiency of the province in the energy sector.
The province has untapped reserves of around nine Trillion Cubic Feet gas and oil deposits exceeding 500 million barrels (mbl), which needed accelerated exploration, Radio Pakistan reported Friday.
The Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) and MOL Pakistan have produced crude oil and natural gas around Rs 99.538 billion from its different operational fields of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the last 18 years.
