Soyameal on the European meals and feeds market was offered in a tight range on Friday as slightly weaker CBOT soyameal futures and slow demand were offset by a weaker dollar. South American soyameal was mostly offered between unchanged and $2 a tonne lower. The lower dollar underpinned products quoted in that currency. Chicago soyameal was down on technical selling.
EU rapemeal eased ahead of the weekend on a mild technical correction following recent gains on the back of worries for smaller rapeseed yields because of hot and dry weather. The weaker dollar also weighed on euro-priced products. Asking prices were between flat and two euros per tonne down.
