Sindh police on Saturday claimed to have confiscated huge quantity of betel nuts in the limits of Garden police. According to details, the action was taken on a tip-off, which revealed that some unscrupulous elements were planning to smuggle huge quantity of betel nuts to Karachi from Afghanistan. Reacting on this information, Garden police intelligence after stiff vigilance intercepted a vehicle loaded with the said commodity. The police have arrested a person Zarbacha and the quantity of betel nuts is being ascertained. Further investigation is in progress.
