Caretaker Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Justice (retd) Dost Muhammad Khan has eulogised the unprecedented sacrifices of police force of KP, adding they laid down their lives for the cause of the people and the cause of the country. Their sacrifices for the security of lives and property of people will long be remembered, he added.
In a message on Youm-e-Shuhada, the Caretaker Chief Minister said that the police rewrote a new chapter of sacrifices showing their bravery for safeguarding the lives and properties of the people and maintaining peace in the province and leaving an unprecedented sign of dedication and devotion in the discharge of their responsibilities to the cause of the nation and the country. The police, he added, had to perform and discharge their duties against the heavy odds proving their bravery and patriotism against an invisible enemy.
Dost Muhammad Khan said that the police force fought a war against terrorism and enemy of the country. They sacrificed their lives for peace in the region which will be written in the history with golden words. He offered Fateha for keeping the soul of the martyred soldiers in peace and heaven. Rest assured, we would never go waste the sacrifices offered by our police force, he added.
