Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) on Saturday increased the prices of domestic LPG cylinder by Rs 4 per kg for the month of September. According to a notification, the price of LPG domestic cylinder has been increased from Rs 132 per kg to Rs 137 per kg. The domestic cylinder will now be sold against Rs 1,613.43 instead of Rs 1,564.
The Ogra notified in respect of indigenous LPG, maximum producer price, margins of marketing and distribution companies and consumer price as conveyed by the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division). Final LPG consumer price is fixed at Rs 132,625.39 MT. Producers' price is Rs 73,686.03 MT, marketing and distribution margin is Rs 35,000 MT, petroleum levy Rs 4,669 MT, consumer price Rs 113,355 per MT and 17 percent GST (Rs 19,270.36 MT).
The price of 11.8-kg cylinder price is Rs 1,564.98 including producers' price Rs 869.30, distribution margin Rs 413, petroleum levy Rs 55.09, consumer price Rs 1,337.59, and 17 percent GST 227.39.
