At least three people killed and seven others were injured when a vehicle fell into gorge in Skardu on Monday morning. Ghulam Ali Wafa, a local resident told INP through telephone call that a vehicle carrying 11 people skidded off road while negotiating sharp turn and it plunged into a deep ravine in Lashi Thung area of Skardu.
Three people died on the spot in the accident while seven others were seriously injured. The police and rescue personnel through joint efforts pulled up the bodies and injured from the gorge and shifted them to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital Skardu where condition of the injured people was stated to be serious.
