On Monday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,423. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 1.915 billion and the number of lots traded was 2,261.
Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 759.997 million, followed by WTI crude oil PKR 466.124 million, currencies through COTS PKR 358.548 million, silver PKR 95.502 million, platinum PKR 71.918 million, natural gas PKR 61.927 million, DJ PKR 38.769 million, SP500 PKR 37.227 million, copper PKR 12.564 million, NSDQ100 PKR 11.438 million and Brent crude oil PKR 1.841 million.
