Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Law and Human Rights Sultan Mohammad Khan has said the protection of human rights is being given top priority in the manifesto of PTI, saying the problems of the Directorate of Human Rights will be resolved as soon as possible.
Speaking during a briefing regarding the performance of the directorate, he said that hardworking officers will be encouraged. However, no slothfulness and negligence will be tolerated in connections with the performing of national responsibilities. Secretary Law, Ziaullah Khattak, Director, Human Rights, Ghazanfar Ali and other concerned officers were also present on the occasion.
The minister said he himself would continue review of the affairs of Human Rights Department to prevent any difficulties.
He also stressed on further enhancement of online management, awareness and training workshops. Earlier, the provincial minister was given detailed briefing on data system, 100-day plan, capacity of department, targets and other projects. The provincial minister directed the concerned officers for maintaining coordination as well as implementation of the planning of the Directorate of Human Rights to give relief to the people.
