Two-month extension likely in returns filing date

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) is likely to given two months extension in the date for filing of Income Tax returns/statements for the Tax Year 2018 till November 30. The date of filing of Income Tax returns required to be filed through e-portal in cases of salaried individuals may be extended upto Nov 30.
The date of filing of Statement of Final Taxation under section 115(4) may be extended upto Nov 30, 2018. The extension would be given in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 214-A of the Income Tax Ordinance 2001.
