A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMA Pakistan) and HR-Metrics at the Institute's Islamabad office on September 11, 2018. The MoU was signed by Zia ul Mustafa, President - ICMA Pakistan on behalf of ICMA Pakistan and Zahid Mubarak, CEO - HR-Metrics on behalf of HR-Metrics.
Speaking on the occasion, Zia ul Mustafa, President - ICMA Pakistan said, "ICMA Pakistan aims to develop skills and abilities of professionals in Pakistan. Under the MOU with HR-Metrics, ICMA Pakistan will provide opportunities for non-finance managers in corporate world, to acquire financial skills in order to excel in their roles. ICMA Pakistan will also support HR-Metrics objectives related to diversity and inclusion and will offer Directors Training Program aimed at women on the board."
Zahid Mubarak, CEO - HR Metrics, added "With the transformation of global economy from physical to intellectual capital, the human resource has become centre pillar for countries' economic growth. Signing of MOU between ICMA Pakistan and HR Metrics will improve the financial acumen by HR professionals and likewise accounting professionals will also better opportunity to understand HR investment as key driver of organisational growth."-PR
