Punjab Minister for Industries and Trade Mian Aslam Iqbal has said that green and clean Punjab program has been initiated and under this program people will be provided clean and neat environment. While addressing the chairmen, vice chairmen and councilors of various union councils, here Saturday, he said the present government will give such an effective local government system which will help to solve people's problems at their doorsteps, representatives of local government system have to become helpful to make the environment clean.
He said clean environment plays pivotal role in establishing healthy society and we will provide clean atmosphere to the people. Good results can only be achieved from the program of green and clean Punjab with the cooperation of people. When we will work with the approach for the welfare of the society than the situation will be improved. Announcing to celebrate two weeks as cleanliness the minister said he will personally monitor the implementation of cleanliness program in his constituency.
