Senior Minister Punjab Abdul Aleem Khan has said that Nawaz league has broke all the record of the history of Pakistan and took 38 $ billions' debt in five years. He added that up to 1999 there was only Rs 34 $ billions' loans and in Musharaf regime 4 billion $ and in Zardari Government of 2008 to 2013 18 billion $ loan was taken.
He said that Nawaz Sharif took extra ordinary loans for undertaking bogus projects. Abdul Aleem Khan, while talking to reporters, said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is striving hard to overcome the problems of the economy and compelled to take unpopular decisions for come out of the present situation. He said that soon we will be in better position and such relief would be provided to the people which were promised to them. Senior Minister said that arrest of any person in corruption should not be attached with the national economy and media should also avoid such one sided analysis based on assumptions. Abdul Aleem Khan claimed that no one should have any sympathy with the culprits as strict accountability can develop the credibility of the Government and no compromise would be there in this regard.
Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan further said that as per vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan best possible local bodies system is being introduced in Punjab which would be based upon the principles of solving the people's problems at local level. He said that this system would deliver the masses and given them immediate relief and which would be more efficient than KPK as well. Abdul Aleem Khan said that the family ruled in Punjab for 30 years' has deep roots in the system and it would take some time to come out of their influence also. He said that through 100 Days Plan strategy is being evolved in each department to come up with comprehensive planning. Abdul Aleem Khan assured that in Punjab Government there would be best possible performance and every department would come forward with concrete practical steps in the coming days.
