Mutahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) President Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that the world colonialism and rulers could not pull out the love of holy Prophet (PBUH) from the hearts of Muslims. While addressing a Tahafuz-e-Namoos-e-Risalat million march on Thursday on the Mall Road, he said the order for Aasia Masih's release was based on technical grounds and aimed at pleasing the Western world. He said the 'bogus ruler' of the country was standing with the West and Zionists as had been predicted by him long ago. He remarked that the party staging mixed dances on roads could not be expected to build a Madina state.
The MMA president said that PTI legislators in their TV programmes were suggesting recognition of Israel. He said if Pakistan recognized Israel, it would have to withdraw its stance on Kashmir. He, however, said the Pakistani people stood by the Kashmiris and Palestinian Muslims.
Fazl said the PTI government was trying to alter the Islamic provisions of the constitution and the blasphemy law. He said the madaris were being targeted. However, he declared that the religious parties would protect them.
Acting Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Muhammad Idrees in his address said that Chief Justice Saqib Nisar and other members of the judiciary should keep in mind that on the day of judgment they would get redemption only through the intercession of Holy Prophet(PBUH). He said if members of the judiciary continued tolerating profanity of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), how they could earn the Holy Prophet's intercession.
Markazi Jamait-e-Ahle Hadith President Hafiz Sajid Mir noted that safeguarding the Namoos of the Holy Prophet(PBUH), was not the issue of any particular Islamic sect or any region. It is dearer to every Muslim than his life. He advised the rulers not to pick up a war with the Islam lovers.
Addressing the million march rally, JI Deputy Chief Dr Farid Ahmed Piracha said those who wanted to make Pakistan a secular state will never succeed. "The movement for enforcement of the Nizam-e-Mustafa was continuation of the Pakistan movement."
Sheikh-ul-Quran Maulana Abdul Malik said that safeguarding the Namoos of Holy Prophet (PBUH) was the duty of each and every Muslim. Those who are not ready to lay down their lives for the respect of Prophet(PBUH) could not be a called true believers.
Ahle Hadith leader Hafiz Ibtisam Elahi Zaheer said if someone dared to allow Aasia Masih to leave the country, the Holy Prophet's (PBUH) slaves won't allow him to escape. He said the Chief Justice could not tolerate the insult of courts but he had made haste in releasing the women guilty of blasphemy. MMA Punjab Chief Mian Maqsood Ahmed, Maulana Allah Wasaya, Maulana Ameer Hamza, Rana Shafiq Pasoori and many others also spoke on the occasion.
