A team from NUST School of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science (SEECS), "RealPharma" remained the best after winning Telenor DigiGov Hackfest 2018, held at Telenor HQ from December 14-16, 2018.
The HackFest was organised by Telenor in collaboration with Microsoft, Saylani Welfare Trust, International Game Developers Association (IGDA) Pakistan and NUST Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Student Chapter. The competition challenged the participating teams to come up with solutions addressing different social problems of Pakistan. RealPharma is a start-up aimed at eliminating fake medicines from the Pakistani market, which constitute almost 50% of the total production. -PR
