Adviser to the Sindh Chief Minister on Information and Archives, Law and Anti-Corruption Establishment, Barrister Murtaza Wahab, on Sunday said that Prime Minister Imran Khan should also be named in Exit Control List on the basis of an initial inquiry report like PPP leaders who were included in the ECL.
"History is replete with the same vindictive tactics, now being adopted by the incumbent federal government," he said, talking to the media after giving away the trophies and cash prizes to the winners of the cycling race organized by Sindh Cycling Association at Gabol Park, Lyari.
The adviser dismissed the claim regarding PPP's forward bloc as the gossip that, he said, had been buzzed throughout the last decade. These are empty rumours and time has proved that no elected member ever opted to leave the PPP, he asserted. Murtaza Wahab said PPP would continue to rule Sindh province where its government is honouring promises. He advised the PTI members to peruse the Constitution of Pakistan. He alleged that the PTI is the second name of obliteration since its members adore destruction.
He said PTI's five months rule has brought with it the tsunami of inflation and devastation. "People of Lyari have proved today that their mandate was in fact stolen in 2018 election," he said, adding that Lyari is incomplete without Pakistan Peoples Party. He said a waving flag of Pakistan and PPP in Lyari is one of his favourite sights.
The Adviser gave away the trophies and cash prizes to the winners of the cycling race that began from Maternity Home, Lyari and ended at Railway Stadium near Jang Press. Accompanied by area residents, the Adviser visited various areas of Lyari and listened to public complaints. He assured that people of Lyari that their grievances would be addressed. He also visited the residence of renowned composer late Zahoor Ahmed Zaibi and condoled with his family members. Murtaza Wahab said that the composition and the services of the distinguished composer would always be remembered.
