Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has asserted his party can show PTI-led government the door within seconds if Asif Ali Zardari nods.
Talking to the media on Monday, he compared the PTI-led government's relatively weaker position with the PPP's Sindh government. "The government at the Centre enjoys a meagre lead of 17 MNAs," Bilawal said, adding that if Zardari nodded, they were capable to drive PTI out of the government and send them to jail. He also ridiculed the PTI leaders on statements regarding change of the PPP's Sindh government.
"We knew they lack political insight but now we can see they are weak in math too," he alluded citing that 99 MPAs in the Sindh Assembly are from PPP while PTI would need support from 49 to 50 more MPAs to impose governor rule in the province.
PPP chairman reproached the federal cabinet for placing him, his father Zardari, his aunt Faryal Talpur, Sindh Chief Minister and many other PPP leaders in Exit Control List.
He rejected the JIT report and termed it fiction. He said the JIT report was seen by the government prior to submitting the same in the Supreme Court and their role is being exposed.
Bilawal expressed dismay that the PTI's federal government is busy in a fake JIT report and their target is Sindh government and chief minister. He asked had there been any report of corruption committed by him during the PPP government's terms? "We will fight the cases in courts. Fake cases had been lodged against Zardari in the past too but he was acquitted and he will be acquitted again," he said.
