Punjab chief minister Sardar Usman Buzdar in a meeting with Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmad here on Friday assured that traders' problems will be solved on priority basis. "The PTI government acknowledges important role of traders in the development of national economy and will solve their problems on priority basis," he said after Sheikh Rashid apprised the CM about the problems of traders of Rawalpindi.
The CM also appreciated the efforts made by Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad for the restoration of railways and congratulated him for running new trains in a short span of time. During the meeting, views were also exchanged on the current political situation besides matters of mutual interest. Moreover, Iranian Consul General Muhammad Raza Nazri met the Chief Minister and discussed various matters of mutual interest besides further promoting bilateral cooperation in different sectors.
Talking on the occasion, Sardar Usman Buzdar said there exists vast opportunities to promote friendly relations between the two countries and we should jointly work to move forward in this regard.
