Accountability Court on Wednesday allowed five days extension in transit remand of former Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique in Paragon Housing Society case. Accountability Judge Mohammad Bashir extended Rafique's transit remand for five days. During the hearing, the judge asked for how many more days the session of the National Assembly will continue. Rafique said that it will be concluded on January 25. He said that the federal government is going to announce mini-budget on January 23.
The National Accountability Bureau On December 11 arrested Rafique and his brother Salman Rafique after the Lahore High Court rejected their bail pleas. Talking to reporters outside the court, Saad Rafique said that the credit of alliance of opposition parties goes to the wrong and immature policies of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
