A man was shot dead by unknown assailants in the jurisdictions of Ferozabad police station here on Tuesday. According to police, the incident took place near Tayyaba Mosque, in PECHS Block-2 when armed men opened multiple fires targeting Muhammad Ali Shah son of Akbar Ali Shah who was on his way to somewhere by a car, and fled the scene leaving the victim in a pool of blood. Later he succumbed to his injuries. He received bullets on his upper torso. The victim was said to be a Karachi Development Authority's (KDA) official.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah has taken notice of the incident and sought detailed report from AIG Karachi.
