Zahoor Ahmed, Additional Secretary and National Coordinator of Pakistan for SCO, met the new Secretary General of SCO Vladimor Norov on the sidelines of the meeting of the Council of National Coordinators in the SCO Secretariat, Beijing.
The National Coordinator handed him over a letter of the Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi congratulating the Secretary General on assuming his post. The foreign minister also appreciated Norov's accomplishment and said that his appointment reflects the confidence of member states in him for the further development of the Organization. Foreign Minister has invited Norov to visit Pakistan at his earliest convenience, says a press release issued here on Friday.-PR
