Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan has approved to declare newly merged seven districts of the erstwhile FATA as sessions divisions.
He approved the establishment of session courts and creation of 7 posts of District Session Judges of BPS-21, 14 posts of Additional District Session Judges of BPS-20, seven posts of Senior Civil Judges BPS-19 and 24 posts of civil judges of BPS-18 in the seven districts of the five division of the province that included Peshawar, Malakand, Kohat, Bannu, and D.I.Khan. These districts are Khyber, Mohamand, Bajur, Orakzai, Kurram, North Wazirstan and South Wazirstan.
He also approved auxiliary staff for the facilitation and operation of justice dispensation system in the newly created districts. The whole judicial structure would cost Rs545 million annually that would ensure easy, inexpensive and timely dispensation of justice in the newly merged districts. The Chief Minister approved a summary here today.
Registering his remarks after approving the summary for the establishment of session courts and courts of senior civil judges in the newly created districts after the merger of erstwhile FATA, the Chief Minister directed the administrative departments to prepare SNEs and PC-1s for the creation of jobs and initiation of projects in the new districts.
The Chief Minister said that creation of seventeen thousand additional posts had already been approved in different departments to be proportionally distributed amongst the seven new districts. Locals would be recruited against these posts, who would get relaxation for all recruitments. The provincial government would arrange resources for developments activities in the erstwhile FATA areas. This will strictly confine to the merged areas.
He also directed for the financial integration of extended institutions in order to complete the overall development strategy in the merged areas. He said that the merger plan was a huge task and we would show our commitment to complete this task.
The Chief Minister especially directed for expeditious completion of projects in health and education sectors and said that staff, equipments and all other requirements would be arranged in these sectors on priority basis adding that deficiencies in health sector would be overcome through re-adjustment, posting of staff etc and making procurement on need basis as expeditiously as possible.
He said that the provincial government has already approved giving Sehat Insaf Card to all in the erstwhile FATA. He also directed for accelerated progress on the solarization of mosques and there should also be practical steps for the solarization of other institutions, he added. He said his government has take steps to open up new vistas of development for the people of these areas.
The Chief Minister directed for financial and administrative steps for properly putting on ground the whole legal and administrative structure in the new districts for the benefit of the people of seven newly merged districts of erstwhile FATA.
