On Thursday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,635. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 10.612 billion and the number of lots traded 18,093. Major business was contributed by NSDQ100 amounting to PKR 3.488 billion, followed by gold PKR 2.910 billion, WTI crude oil PKR 1.755 billion, currencies through COTS PKR 889.812 million, platinum PKR 598.727 million, DJ PKR 455.461 million, silver PKR 309.404 million, SP500 PKR 55.318 million, natural gas PKR 50.436 million, copper PKR 50.394 million, Brent crude oil PKR 26.510 million, Palladium PKR 19.177 million and Japan equity PKR 2.917 million.
In agriculture commodities ten lots of corn valued at PKR 26.196, two lots of wheat valued at PKR 7.088 and two lots of cotton valued at PKR 0.971 million were traded.
