All customs houses and stations would be linked with WeBOC and other latest system in order to facilitate tax payers and business community in the remote and far flung areas of Balochistan, says Jawad Awais Agha, Member Customs during his visit to Quetta.
Quetta Customs Collectorate hosted Zonal Conference here at MCC Quetta Headquarters. The conference was attended by the Member Customs Federal Board of Revenue Jawad Awais Agha, Chief Collector of Quetta Collectorate Dr Zulfiqar Ali Chaudhry, Collector Appraisement Quetta Raza Baloch, Collector Preventive Iftikhar Ali, Collector Gwadar Yaqoob Mako and Collector Hyderabad Khalid Jamali. The main agenda of the conference was to review the revenue analysis, strategy to achieve targets in the coming months, challenges after formation of Chief collectorate office and the way forward. Member Customs, Jawad Awais Agha presided the occasion, newly posted Chief Collector of Customs Dr Zulfiqar Ali Chaudhry briefly introduced Quetta Collectorate its function task and achievement.
In his keynote address, Jawad Awais Agha, Member Customs, highlighted the various steps taxation and duties -related activities initiated by the FBR. During the session performance report from July 2018 to January 2019 was presented and stressed to format better strategy in order to collect target revenue from February 2019 to June 2019. All relevant Collectorate performance were also presented by the respective Collectors. During the session representative of Quetta Chamber of commerce, Pak Afghan Chambers along with trade community, Deputy Convener Advisory Committee FBR and budget (FPCCI) met the participants of zonal conference. Import, export, customs clearance, local valuation committee transportation, WeBOC, plant protection and other issues were also discussed.-PR
