Hong Kong stocks closed higher on Friday, with investors hopeful that China and the United States will soon reach deal to resolve their trade disputes. The Hang Seng index ended up 0.7 percent at 28,816.30, while the China Enterprises Index gained 1.1 percent to 11,427.29 points. The sub-index of the Hang Seng tracking energy shares rose 0.5 percent, while the IT sector rose 1.23 percent, the financial sector ended 0.44 percent higher and the property sector rose 0.31 percent.
