Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry Friday urged International Cricket Council (ICC) to take appropriate action against Indian cricket team for politicising an international game. In a tweet, the minister said that it's not "just" a game, and urged the ICC to lodge a formal protest so that a game should not be politicised.
He said, Pakistan cricket team, otherwise will start wearing black bands to remind The international communities about Indian atrocities in Kashmir. "It's just not cricket." I hope ICC will take action for politicising Gentleman's game ... if Indian Cricket team will not be stopped, Pak Cricket team should wear black bands to remind the world about Indian atrocities in Kashmir... I urge PCB to lodge formal protest," he tweeted.
The Indian players wore special army caps as tributes to the Indian armed forces before the start of the third ODI against Australia in Ranchi on Friday. The players were presented with the cap by former India captain and player MS Dhoni.
