Pakistan-based International Socca Federation (ISF) Vice President Shahzeb Trunkwala along with officials of Leisure Leagues Pakistan (LLP) - ISF affiliated body in Pakistan, will participate in ISF World Conference to be held in Birmingham, England on March 19.
Representatives of more than 50 countries will be attending the mini-football international federation's world conference. Hundreds of delegates will take part in a series of meetings, which will set out the roadmap for the next 12 months of six-a-side football.
The top agenda of the meeting will be Socca World Cup in Crete. Organizers will update delegates about the progress of the tournament. Meanwhile, last year's inaugural Socca World Cup held in Lisbon, Portugal will also be reviewed.
One of the main force behind establishment of ISF and holding of its first-ever Socca World Cup, World Group's Shahzeb Trunkwala will be one of the top executives and would be leading discussions.
"This conference is very important for the future of the sport," Mr. Trunkwala said before leaving for England to attend the important ISF conference. "We have achieved so much since we formed the ISF last year but we are very much in the infancy of the sport and events like this one are crucial." "The fact that countries from every continent can come together to do something so worthwhile for the sporting aspirations of people throughout the world is a truly wonderful thing and a proof that small-sided football can bring people together like no other sport can," he added.
Dozens of countries have joined the ISF since the initial declaration of formation was made back in February 2018. Mexico - who have been accepted this week - will be amongst the guests who are in Birmingham for the first time.
