MQM hails PM's Karachi package

Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) on Saturday welcomed announcement of Rs 162 billion development package for Karachi by Prime Minister Imran Khan. "Huge development package is a positive step for Karachi because it and other urban centres of the province are suffering from sense of deprivation," party convenor Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said. He expressed hope that future budgets would allocate more funds for various sectors in the urban centres of Sindh. He lauded the development package as a beginning.
"Credit goes to MQM's Coordination Committee and our members of Parliament because their untiring efforts brought the announcement of development package," the MQM-P convenor asserted. He hoped the projects under that package would be completed in time to provide relief to the masses.
